The Work

The photos on this page are a selection of recent roof-mounted solar PV installations we have completed on homes across East Riding of Yorkshire. Each one started the same way: homeowners wanting to cut their electricity bills and rely less on the grid, with the whole job handled by one local team from survey and design through to scaffolding, installation and testing.

What We Do on Every Install

Each of these installations followed the same process:

• Free survey and system design: We assess the roof's orientation, pitch, shading and structural condition, review the household's energy use and design a system to suit both the property and the budget.
• Scaffolding and safe access: Scaffolding is arranged and erected before installation day so the team can work safely at roof level throughout the job.
• Mounting system installation: Roof anchors and mounting rails are fixed securely to the rafters, with the tiles refitted neatly around each fixing point.
• Panel installation: The solar panels are lifted, positioned and clamped to the rails in a clean, uniform array across the roof face.
• Inverter and electrical connection: Our qualified electricians install the inverter, run the DC and AC cabling and connect the system safely into the property's electrical installation.
• Testing, commissioning and handover: Every system is tested and commissioned, and we walk the owners through how it works, how to monitor generation and how the Smart Export Guarantee lets them get paid for exported power.

The Result

Tidy, full-width arrays that sit neatly on the roofline and generate free electricity every daylight hour. The panels carry long manufacturer performance warranties, every installation is backed by our workmanship guarantee, and each household now generates a meaningful share of its own power, with the option to add battery storage later to use even more of it.

Typical Duration: Most domestic installations are completed within a few days on site, from scaffolding going up to final testing and handover.
